Digital twins are a powerful method for viewing complex data in a physical space that can also maximize the intuitive nature of Mixed Reality (MR). Paired with IoT the CAD models allow the analysis of real-time data pertaining to a specific, real-work machine, system or piece of equipment. Delivering this data, overlaid onto a digital replica of a system allows frontline workers to both prevent problems and fix them once they’ve occurred.

The integration and application of this content is one of the key steps in the adoption of mixed reality technologies.
